We, Computer Brain UG (haftungsbeschränkt), take the protection of your personal data very seriously. In this privacy policy, we inform you about the collection, processing and use of your personal data when using our mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "app").
Important Notice of Independence
We explicitly state that our app is an independent learning app that is NOT connected to or supported by German authorities. Computer Brain UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is a private company and has no affiliation with any government institutions. Our app is solely for exam preparation purposes and is not an official government application.

3. Data Collected
When accessing our app, certain data is automatically collected and stored. This includes:
- Device information such as device type, operating system, unique device identifiers (Device ID) and mobile network information
- Log data such as IP address, date and time of request, pages/screens accessed
- Usage data such as interactions within the app
- Location data (if allowed)
This data is needed to ensure the functionality of the app and to improve user-friendliness. The data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR out of our legitimate interest in providing a functional app.
4. Advertisements
Our free app is financed by displaying advertisements. For this purpose, data such as unique identifiers, device information and partially location data are transmitted to our advertising partners so that interest-based advertising can be displayed.
We use Google Advertising products for this purpose. Google processes data in accordance with its privacy policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can adjust your advertising settings for Google Ads at any time: adssettings.google.com/authenticated.
Consent for personalized advertising and associated data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time by disabling the display of personalized advertising in the device settings.
5. Data Transfer
Data will only be transferred to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract, if we are legally obliged to do so or if you have previously given your consent.
6. Retention Period
We only store your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. As a rule, we delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed for the purposes of processing. In some cases, we may have to store certain data for a longer period due to legal obligations.
7. Your Rights
According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

You also have the right to withdraw any consent given at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
